Susan Stamps has been a divorce attorney since she began the practice of law in 1988. She is also knowledgeable in tax law and other financial matters pertinent to family law. Susan strives to resolve each case in the fairest way possible. Although she discourages unnecessary conflict and litigation and settles most of her cases, she has an excellent trial record. "My clients seem happy with my direct, and inclusive style of interaction, and I achieve good results for them by focusing on what is really important." Susan is also available to mediate divorces or to review settlements for clients who have mediated with other practitioners. She offers community workshops on various aspects of divorce and gives professional training sessions on tax issues in divorce.
Susan received her law degree from Northeastern University in 1987. She is a member of the Massachusetts Bar Association and is active in its Family Law Legislation Practice Group. She is an officer of the Central Middlesex County Bar Association and is a member and former Executive Board member of the Massachusetts Council on Family Mediation. She was an associate, then partner, of the Concord firm of Arnold & Kangas, P.C., for 13 years before opening her own practice.

Karen Cohen received her law degree from Northeastern University in 1991. She then practiced for 11 years at Sherin and Lodgen, a midsized Boston law firm, where she gained extensive litigation experience and specialized in family law. Karen also has a Master's degree in clinical psychology and, prior to law school, worked as a clinical psychologist focusing on families and children. Karen's unique background blends a knowledge of law with an understanding of the complex psychological dynamics of families going through divorce.
